Join us for two evenings of uplifting music making and community building with singing as our primary vehicle. Come with an open mind and open heart and we will make meaningful music together. All songs are taught by rote (by ear) and are easy to learn on the spot. No prior musical experience is needed! All voices and ages are welcome. If you are bringing a child, please encourage your child to join us in song, and please stay with your child. We look forward to singing with you! An optional donation to Mutual Aid to support members in the SAV community will be made available to anyone interested.
What is community singing? It is a core belief of this group that we sing for connection over perfection. Singing both releases and ignites emotions in a very unique way. Singing is good for our hearts, minds, bodies, and communities. We will cover a diverse range of topics such as joy, grief, nature, and celebration.
