Ceramics with Andrea Mason
Thursdays, January 16 through March 5, 2020, $125 covers all supplies for the 8 sessions, 6:30-8:30 p.m., Room #109 of SAVHS (limited to 12 people)This introductory pottery class is for beginner and advanced potters alike. You will be introduced to throwing pottery on the wheel, hand building, and glazing procedures. Experienced students will enhance their skills and work with the instructor to develop their own projects. Dress for a mess, bring an old hand towel and some dirty clothes! Tools will be supplied for use, including 25 lbs of clay, as well as the glaze.ABOUT the INSTRUCTOR: Andrea Mason has a passion for clay. She has a degree in art education from St. Cloud State University and pottery is by far her specialty. She taught community education pottery classes for 7 years in Monticello; she is in her 3rd year of teaching these classes here in St. Anthony. She currently teaches high school art at the St. Anthony Village High School. Andrea loves the functionality and flexibility that the medium of clay provides and can’t wait to explore it with you!
All Day Preschool offers two enrollment options- full time and part time and operates year round.
Village Kids is a school-age childcare program that provides care before and after school and on non-school days for children in grades K-5 attending Wilshire Park Elementary School or who reside in St. Anthony-New Brighton School District.
An optional lunch is offered for NSD's.
