More Beginning Watercolor

Class Description: Let watercolor splash across your paper! Practice the basics of watercolor painting, and learn new beginning techniques. Create paintings that show your own personality. We’ll learn how the color wheel works, and explore new brush shapes and new techniques! Supplies will be provided. Complete beginners, continuing beginners, and painters of all levels are welcome.

Option 1 "I am a RETURNING student, and would like the 2 NEW brushes with my materials. I will bring the brushes I already have to class. All other materials will be provided." $80 

Option 2 "I am a NEW Student, and would like the beginning brush AND the 2 new brushes with my materials. All other materials will be provided." $95

Paula Pettis

Artist Biography: Paula Pettis began watercolor painting in 2019. She has traveled to England, Italy, and Scotland to paint en plein air. Her watercolors have been chosen to be displayed in the Into Nature Plein Air Competition in White Bear Lake, and in the gallery at Unity Church-Unitarian in St. Paul, MN. They have also been shown in the MN Watercolor Society’s Fall Exhibition, the White Bear Center for the Arts Members’ Exhibition, and she has had both watercolors and a graphite pencil drawing on display at the Bakken Museum in Minneapolis. Paula studies privately with Catherine Hearding, and has taken classes with Tara Sweeney. She is a member of the Minnesota Watercolor Society, White Bear Center for the Arts, and Urban Sketchers Twin Cities.
