All Day Preschool operates twelve months a year and serves children 3-5 years of age.
This ECFE class is non-separating for parents and children birth to age 2.
Half Day Preschool offers options for 3 year olds to attend two mornings or afternoons per week or for 4 & 5 year olds to attend three mornings or afternoons per week.
Village Kids is a school-age childcare program that provides care before and after school and on non-school days for children in grades K-5 attending Wilshire Park Elementary School or who reside in St. Anthony-New Brighton School District.
Our early childhood camps and enrichment classes are specifically for children ages 2-6. However, some of our camps and classes are geared for ages 2-9 so siblings can attend together.
Let watercolor splash across your paper! Learn the basics of watercolor painting. We will learn about the materials and beginning techniques used in transparent watercolor and create paintings of your own. No previous painting experience required. All supplies will be provided.
Paula Pettis began watercolor painting in 2019. She has traveled to England, Italy, and Scotland to paint plein air. In October 2025, she plans to travel to Greece to paint on the island of Hydra. Her watercolors have been shown in the gallery at Unity Church-Unitarian in St. Paul, MN, and she has had both watercolors, and a graphite pencil drawing, on display at the Bakken Museum. In September 2024, her painting “Summer - White Bear Lake” was chosen to be displayed in the juried show “Into Nature Plein Air Exhibition” at White Bear Center for the Arts, and in October & November, it was shown in the Minnesota Watercolor Society’s Fall Exhibition “Light in Droplets.” She studies privately with Catherine Hearding, and has taken classes with Tara Sweeney. She is a member of the Minnesota Watercolor Society, White Bear Center for the Arts, and Urban Sketchers Twin Cities. You can view Paula’s Watercolors at:
