All Day Preschool operates twelve months a year and serves children 3-5 years of age.
This ECFE class is non-separating for parents and children birth to age 2.
Half Day Preschool offers options for 3 year olds to attend two mornings or afternoons per week or for 4 & 5 year olds to attend three mornings or afternoons per week.
Village Kids is a school-age childcare program that provides care before and after school and on non-school days for children in grades K-5 attending Wilshire Park Elementary School or who reside in St. Anthony-New Brighton School District.
Our early childhood camps and enrichment classes are specifically for children ages 2-6. However, some of our camps and classes are geared for ages 2-9 so siblings can attend together.
Have you always wanted to be able to get on the dance floor with your partner, especially when you hear those jazzy big band tunes, like Frank Sinatra or Michael Buble? This beginner-level Foxtrot Class will get your feet moving! It is geared toward those with zero experience and those who want a refresher! Anyone can dance, and instructor Bre Gay specializes in making it fun and easy - starting with the basic steps and building simple social foxtrot patterns to lead and follow. This class progresses across 4 weeks, with each week building on the previous one as we learn new steps.
Sign up together with a dance partner or sign up solo and you will be partnered with another solo participant!
Bre Gay is a Northeast Minneapolis teaching artist. She has been dancing since college, where she received a degree in Musical Theatre. She started taking ballroom dance lessons and enjoyed it so much that she became an instructor at a local studio and competed professionally. She now teaches on her own: private couples’ dance lessons, community dance classes, and wedding first dances, and has a particular gift for working with beginners. Through her business A Brush of Joy, she also teaches Paint & Sip classes and sells her paintings.
