Each week after school, join a naturalist and an art educator from Silverwood Park to creatively explore a new topic from the natural world. Students will take part in hands-on activities investigating natural artifacts in the classroom, exploring outdoor spaces around the school, and contributing scientific observations to real community science research projects! We will be inspired by what we discover along the way to create artwork across a variety of mediums including paper and book arts, printmaking, fiber arts and weaving, woodcarving and more.
