All Day Preschool operates twelve months a year and serves children 3-5 years of age.
This ECFE class is non-separating for parents and children birth to age 2.
Half Day Preschool offers options for 3 year olds to attend two mornings or afternoons per week or for 4 & 5 year olds to attend three mornings or afternoons per week.
Village Kids is a school-age childcare program that provides care before and after school and on non-school days for children in grades K-5 attending Wilshire Park Elementary School or who reside in St. Anthony-New Brighton School District.
Summer Village Kids offers care for children who have completed grades K-5.
Our early childhood camps and enrichment classes are specifically for children ages 2-6. However, some of our camps and classes are geared for ages 2-9 so siblings can attend together.
The emphasis of this class is to develop enthusiasm for the game of tennis! Taught by University of Northwestern Head Tennis Coach Matt Swigart, the participants in this class should be at the beginner or intermediate level. The focus will be on being able to rally with proper grips and techniques as well as beginning to learn the serve. Increasing the student's athleticism, agility, balance, and fine motor skills will also be a key focal point. Please bring your appropriate sized tennis racket and a water bottle.
**As with all outdoor activities tennis is weather dependent and participants assume the risk that there may be weather related issues. In the event that it is raining or has recently rained and the courts are still wet we will have to cancel that night. It is our policy that if one day gets cancelled we will make every effort to reschedule and communicate that plan as soon as possible. We commit to do all we can to reschedule one cancelled date. If 2 or more dates get cancelled we will only be able to reschedule one date.**
Coach Matt has been the Head Men's and Women's Tennis Coach at the University of Northwestern for 9 season where he has become the all-time winningest coach in program history. In the summer of 2020 he launched the Soar Tennis Academy offering group drills and private lessons. Coach Matt is excited to serve the communities of St. Anthony and New Brighton in offering the opportunity for more people to come to learn and enjoy the game of tennis as he does!
