Go Bananas Fun & Fundamentals Hockey Experience
What:20 hours of quality youth hockey training at a low cost.This is a program to advance the skills of hockey players who played squirt or peewee hockey this winter.This opportunity is led by volunteer Mounds View / Irondale youth hockey coaches in partnership with the Irondale and Mounds View High School coaches.

Squirt and peewee hockey players from this winter.(Goalie scholarships available.)
When:Tuesdays and Thursdays in June and JulyTuesdays and Thursdays: June 11, 13, 18, 20, 25*, and 27*, July 9, 11, 16, 18, 23, 25, 30, August 1 (all 2:30-4pm (* except 3:05-4:15pm on June 25 and 27 *)

The philosophy of this program is built off the goal of providing high-quality summer hockey training opportunity for a reasonable price.This program is designed to be fundamental-intensive; focusing on improving hockey skills in a fun, competitive environment.Sessions will include drill work, fundamentals, small area games, and scrimmages. Examples of the on-ice focus include skating development (power skating, edge control, andspeed development), individual skill development (puck handling, passing, shooting), and team concept work (break-outs, defensive / offensive systems, angling, and support).Sessions are 1.5 hours of ice.
